|Title||HVAC Technician (Full Time)|
The HVAC Technician will perform skilled work in the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment. Will perform skilled work in the installation, inspection, diagnosis, repair and calibration of control systems such as direct digital, electronic, electric, pneumatic, and VAV control systems. Also maintains records of all A/C and Refrigeration equipment and may perform work in other trades as requested by Supervisor. A/C and Refrigeration Mechanics are expected to have extensive electrical knowledge in order to install, service and troubleshoot such equipment. Working knowledge of soldering and welding is required to remodel and repair existing piping systems and install DX units and furnaces. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required as well as 5 years previous experience working as an Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Mechanic. Must have an EPA approved Universal Certification and be certified on EPA Recycling standards under the section 608, of the Clean Air Act.
