The Welk Theatre seeking ALL ROLES for CHICAGO running March 22 thru June 2 in Escondido.
Open auditions will be held on Jan 21st @10am at the theatre
8860 Lawrence Welk Drive, Escondido CA
This is an open call with times as follows:
10:00 Male Dancers who sing
11:30 Female Dancers who sing
ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN AUDITIONING FOR THE ROLES OF ROXIE OR VELMA MUST ATTEND THIS DANCE CALL!!!
Roxie and Velma should be extremely strong singers – belt voices with no holds barred!
2:00 Billy, Amos, Matron Mama, Mary Sunshine
4:00 Callbacks by invitation ONLY
NON UNION with One union Dinner theatre Artist Agreement. Seeking strong dancers who sing well. Girls wear character shoes with heels. All men and women dress to impress. No sweats or baggy clothes on males or females!!!!!
Housing available for those cast who are 75 miles away or more. There is hourly pay for rehearsals and performance pay is at $350 per week with performances on Wed/Thurs/Sun at 1pm and Thurs/Sat @ 8pm.
Bring P/R, accompanist provided, NO TAPES OR CD’S. Late arrivals may not be seen.
