The Welk Theatre will present the current Broadway smash musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Currently on Broadway starring Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame, this well-loved musical originally starred Robert Morse and then ran a successful revival starring Mathew Broderick. The story of a young entrepreneur who works his way of from window washer to VP of the company all with the help of useful tips in the book on How To Succeed. The return of this Broadway Musical to New York is a sure sign that the material still holds up with a delightful, classical musical style that is perfect for the whole family. Welk Producer Joshua Carr is delighted to be able to present this show for six weeks beginning January 19, 2012

Starring local San Diego favorite Scott Dreier as Bud Frump and Allen Everman as J. Pierrepont Finch this musical is sure to please! This hilarious musical comedy with fabulous music written by Frank Loesser is directed and choreographed by award winning Ray Limon. Limon boasts over twenty shows at the Welk Resorts Theatre. Sets designed by local Mike Buckley with costume design by San Diego's Janet Pitcher. Justin Gray is at the helm as Musical Director and Conductor of the Welk band.

Shows run on a new schedule this year with 1pm matinee performances on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, an 8pm evening performance on Thursday and a new 6:30pm Twilight showing on Sunday's through Feb 26, 2012. Tickets start at $44 – add a buffet option for $15 more (except on the Sunday twilight shows when no buffet is offered).
