Lake Tahoe is a year-round playground with no shortage of activities. Spring, in particular, is one of the most beautiful seasons to visit Tahoe with your family and friends. As the snowpack turns into mountain waterfalls and raging rivers, both locals and visitors alike head out into the landscape to enjoy one of the most picturesque times of the year. So when you bring your family up to visit us at One Village Place by Welk Resorts, or Northstar Lodge by Welk Resorts Tahoe, here’s a list of eleven Lake Tahoe Spring activities you don’t want to miss.

Lake Tahoe Cruise

Take a picturesque cruise of Emerald Bay on a fantastic paddlewheeler. Choose between a Daytime Scenic Cruise or the Sunset Dinner Cruise. It’s a truly extraordinary journey.

Spring in Tahoe is the perfect time to get in a few rounds on the links. Try Lake Ridge or Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno for some world-class golf. See all the local courses here.

Helicopter Flights

See Lake Tahoe from a whole new perspective with a Lake Tahoe helicopter flight! A variety of different tours and flight itineraries are available.

Museums

There are a number of notable museums in Lake Tahoe, none more so than the Donner Party Museum at Donner Lake. Take a day to learn all about the history of this legendary journey through the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Hot Springs

There is no shortage of hot springs in Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas. It’s relaxing, it’s rejuvenating, and well worth your time. You won’t regret it! Check out a list of springs.

Spring Skiing at Squaw Valley

Don’t rule the slopes out just yet! Depending on the snowfall for the season, spring skiing may last all the way until the Fourth of July. View lift tickets and village events.

While this list includes a few of our favorite Spring activities in Lake Tahoe, there is still plenty more to see and do. There's something for the whole family, whatever the time of year, and that’s what makes Tahoe so special.
