More Than a Winter Wonderland in Tahoe
Winter in Tahoe: An All-Access Pass to the Best of Northstar
Owners who have enjoyed our highly demanded Northstar Lodge know that nothing says winter in Lake Tahoe like spending powdery days on the mountain and evenings around the fires, sipping hot chocolate with loved ones. But not everyone thinks a day on the slopes is the best thing to do when it’s freezing outside. For those of you who prefer shopping to skiing, read on!
There’s plenty for everyone to do at Northstar. The Village at Northstar offers spa services, a range of restaurants and wine bars, movie theatre, gourmet market, unique gifts and clothing — and not just parkas and boots (although they have them, too!) Venture farther afield and you’ll find snowmobile tours, snowshoing, sledding and even sleigh rides. Here’s what visitor Lucy Connor suggests:
“This is a fabulous place! We don’t ski, but there a lot of activities for non-skiers. We were there with our son and his family. I read, knitted, window-shopped in the village, sat by an outdoor fire pit, went to the skating rink, visited and people-watched. The grandkids had a great time in the pool and hot tub, as they had both all to themselves. We loved it!”
